FROM ONE EDUCATOR TO ANOTHER

I created Simple Mondays because I was an overwhelmed teacher, too

I loved teaching but I was constantly drowning in tasks, with no time, energy, or mental space left for the things that mattered most.

In June 2023, I hit a breaking point—holding back tears as I listened to my kids play outside while I finished report cards. All I wanted was to be with them. I was burnt out, exhausted, and over it. Out of desperation, I opened ChatGPT—and finished my comments in minutes instead of hours.

That moment changed everything.

I spent the summer learning how to use AI as my personal assistant. I planned my school year in a few days. For the first time ever, I entered September feeling clear, calm, and ahead.

That year, I stopped working outside my contract hours. I left at 3:00 p.m. and spent my evenings with my family.

What started as a survival tactic quickly became a mission to help teachers take their time—and their life—back.

I spent two years perfecting my system and teaching thousands of educators how to use it. But I knew AI alone wasn’t enough.

So I created an AI-powered planner where teachers can plan, create, and organize in a way that feels calming, not chaotic. Intuitive instead of techy. Beautifully feminine versus all black and white.

And I named it Simple Mondays.
